Layers, Cardigans, and Masks: Fall Fashion Tips in California
It’s (finally) starting to cool down a smidge over here in California, and if you pause long enough during dawn and dusk, you can smell fall in the air. That crisp sensation marking the changing of the guards, the fallen leaves of orange and yellow becoming more present, and the ever constant cawing of crows claiming their rightful season. Despite intensifying wildfires and constant global turmoil, the refreshing depth of autumn is here like a much needed balm.

Dressing for fall in California though, is another wild conundrum all of its own though. When it’s 80 degrees in the middle of the afternoon and 55 when the sun goes down, it’s incredibly hard to know what to wear let alone know what season it is. If you live on the west coast your favorite fall fashion word might be LAYERS. Good thing we’ve got you covered on all the best basics!

The best tip for creating a closet that is effortless for transitioning season to season, is to have a solid staple collection of casual wear pieces. Simple pieces, that are easy to layer upon and to dress up for more formal occasions with a few extra touches, are the sure all for accessible and sustainable closets.
